About Us

Thrive in Pharma & Beyond, LLC is a development and strategy company building leadership, talent, and infrastructure across the pharmaceutical ecosystem and its adjacent sectors. Operating as Thrive in Pharma™, we work at the intersection of clinical expertise, business execution, and innovation.

Our Mission: Empowering bold pharmacy leadership at the intersection of clinical, scientific, business, and technology innovation.

Our Vision: To shape the future of the pharmaceutical ecosystem by building capabilities and strengthening infrastructure across people, systems, and emerging markets.

Meet the Founder: Dr. Osamagbe “Osa” Woghiren is a Nigerian-American and U.S.-trained Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) whose professional career spans clinical practice, academia, public health, and the corporate pharmaceutical and research sector.

Her journey began in frontline pharmacy—including community practice and pharmaceutical packaging—before progressing into health system roles in emergency medicine. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as part of the emergency vaccine response team at the Baltimore Convention Center Field Hospital (BCCFH) ( a Taskforce of University of Maryland Medical System [UMMS] x John Hopkins Medicine [JHM]). There, she provided patient education, administered vaccinations, delivered operational support, and coordination during one of the most pivotal public health efforts in modern history.

Dr. Woghiren transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry through a highly competitive two-year postdoctoral fellowship in global patient safety. Since then, she has held roles in both U.S. and global pharmacovigilance. In her current hybrid global role, she leads strategic projects that enhance infrastructure, compliance, and inspection readiness across more than 20 affiliate countries and regional hubs. Her work also focuses on harmonization, centralization, documentation and scalable operations to strengthen global patient safety systems.

Her professional journey includes collaborations with leading organizations such as UCB Biosciences, Johnson & Johnson, and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where she supported procurement operations in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.

Dr. Woghiren brings a distinctive blend of clinical acumen, operational strategy, and cultural fluency to the work of building people, teams, and systems that move pharmacy—and the broader pharmaceutical ecosystem—forward.

Why Thrive in Pharma & Beyond?

The full pharmaceutical ecosystem, including the pharmacy profession, is evolving rapidly but the people, systems, and education behind it still need to catch up.

Founder and CEO Dr. Osamagbe Woghiren started Thrive in Pharma & Beyond, LLC to bridge the gaps she observed across pharmacy education, public health, and both regulatory and innovation-driven spaces. Beneath that is a deeper recognition: this is a growing, highly regulated industry that needs modern development and strategic support—solutions grounded in compliance, yet designed for the future.

Why the “& Beyond”?

“The ‘& Beyond’ is important and core to my vision,” says Dr. Woghiren. “It reflects a broader mission—one that expands into adjacent industries, global development, and holistic professional and organizational growth.”

It signals a commitment to building capacity not just in roles, but in the people, systems, and infrastructure that will shape the future of healthcare and life sciences.
